A Message from Our President, Lee Nash (Eta Tau, 2004)
I'm proud and humbled to be the new president of the Houston Alumni Association. For those that don't know me, my name is Lee Nash, and I'm a 2004 Alumni of the Eta Tau Chapter. I've been active in the Houston Alumni Chapter, most recently in a leadership role with the Wild Game Dinner committee in 2020. A bit about me: I've been married for 16 years to my wife Breann, and have two children-Eleanor (5) and Logan (10), and we live in the Braeswood area in Houston. I've been at BMC Software for 17 years, and run a sales team in the Midwest US. I'm a 5-time legacy of Sigma Chi, and passionate about the teachings of the Ritual and application of it to my life.
I want to thank Brother Steve Smelley and the board for the incredible achievements that the HAC have seen in the 2020-2021 period. In the most difficult circumstances that last year brought to our world, this chapter thrived, and is in an
incredible position- and a stronger financial position than we've ever achieved in our history, poised for success going into the September 18th Wild Game Dinner at the Hotel Derek. We are excited to see that the end of the pandemic is finally in sight, and are excited for what this summer means to resuming brotherhood events- there are a few exciting things to look forward to with the HAC: August 29th "Silver Boot Series" DFH-HOU new annual tradition ballgame in Arlington at the new Globe Life Park (https://SigSilverBoot.givesmart.com), and a night for the record books: the upcoming 75th Wild Game Dinner at the Hotel Derek- now scheduled for September 18th. We hope to see you at our monthly luncheons (Now at Union Kitchen on Ella, next one being June 8th), or the next happy hour. I hope to see you there! Until next time, brothers.
In Hoc Signo Vinces,
Lee A Nash
